CPH Barefoot Run 2010

Last saturday i was in the race CPH Barefoot Run (NYC BF Run inspired) here in Denmark. With i think 18 runners in all it was not a big run, but i think the reason for this could be the weather. Some journalists came to interview "the nutcases". Fun.

First, I just gotta say,

First, I just gotta say, that's the most disturbing avatar I have ever seen. Love the snow photos though! How far did you guys run? What was the temperature? Have you shared this with John Durant by chance, NYC Barefoot Run Race Director? I bet he'd enjoy seeing them.

 The distance was 2.86 km

The distance was 2.86 km around a minor swamp area called Utterslev Mose. A few people ran 2 laps, i did only 1. I don't really enjoy running in snow, it's not that it's cold, 'cos your feet will be numb pretty fast, but it's the defrosting i don't like. It hurts too much for my taste. The temperature was -4 or -5 degrees celcius i believe, but the chill factor.. uhh.. it was windy.
