I see Allison is sharing "some?" with WebMD, but when I asked her for the results of the Delaware study to share with you all (as I and others here had been a part of the study for an entire year), she told me that the results wouldn't be available until spring 2013. sigh.

I always wonder when I read these things who it is that is NOT supposed
to be a barefoot runner :)

When most podiatrists are asked that question, they come back quickly with something like:
"Those with high arches, those people with low arches, anyone who pronates, runners who suppinate, anyone who has human tissue on their sole, anyone who is not immune to every known virus, fungi, or bacterium, people who have reason to think they may be susceptable to not yet identified pathogens, people who may end up outside in nature, those who plan on being around the public, runners who drive cars, people who plan on eating food (because of health department regulations) etc.

Longboard you forgot those with diabetes... :D

Nick,
I left them off the list because it's assumed that they are all wearing the Medicare approved and paid for "diabetic" shoes.
