For 2012, I was much better prepared, so I had in a better position to evaluate this race, since I had done others in 2011. Start and finish are at the Plaza Camino Real shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. There was a limit of 8500 runner for the Half. There is also a Marathon of 1500 which starts 1.5 hours before. Surface is mostly a little rough, but there's a painted bike lane line pretty much the entire course. At mile 9, 10, and 11 are the roughest part, and the bike land lines get pretty broken as there are lots of cross streets. Aid stations are frequency and well stocked with volunteers. Would not recommend this race for a beginning barefoot runner, but a good well organized race overall.
