Took a nice step on a rock yesterday, about two minutes into my run. It was going to be a good run too. Nice (not visible) bruise to the bone I'm thinking. Real tender in the right spot.
Did about 2 miles in my Minimus Road Zero-Drops last Sunday. Did about 1.5 miles today barefoot. I can feel some residual inflammation, we'll see how this goes.
These things take some time to heal. Had a similar accident last summer, took me 5 weeks to completely heal up. Give it some time, your feet will get stronger.
Egads! 5 weeks? I hit a rock yesterday and can barely walk today. I'm a math teacher and am bound to my chair. I hit the rock on my 2nd metatarsal and it hurts all the way through the top of my foot. I have a half ironman coming. Sheesh. Anything I can do? I am really just hoping my foot is not broken.
