Article: Why I ran a barefoot marathon By PBarker

thanks for the story. i dig it. congrats on the bf marathon by the way.

One of the most telling and significant things I get out of these race stories is the stuff about easy recovery. It's so common to see people limping around for days and weeks after such an event. Meanwhile barefoot runners (at least the ones I read about on BRS) are pretty much fine.

While I haven't done a marathon, I enjoy races more these days because I can have a good time hanging out with a beer after, instead of getting medicated and iced.
