3rd embedded glass in 4 years. Ow!

In 4 years of BF running, I only had 2 embedded glass wounds until today.

But this time I was able to squeeze it back out. Tiny little pointy star-shaped ball of glass. OWWW! Lot of pain for such a tiny object. But totally painless afterward.

Wish I was that lucky. Last month on 3 consecutive runs a small piece of glass in foot each time. Could not get them out so its still there but not annoying anymore.

Ever heard of Quret drawing salve? The stuff works, though it's a bit dicey for things embedded in the sole because of necessity we tend to counteract the effects by continually walking on the embedded item. But, it's worth having in your tool kit. I got it on Amazon.

Never had embedded glass. The closest I've come to anything embedded was a pine needle. It actually surprised me because I had gotten used to being able to run on them without any problems. I had to stop and pull it out. No problems afterwards.
