Running Style

I wonder if kids who play and run barefoot tend to maintain a forefoot strike when they start wearing shoes.

experiment of 2: my son seems to have perfect form no matter what is on his feet (he's 7). My daughter (9) is conflicted about wearign shoes when she runs (i'm all don't wear them or wear mins for trails: her culture/classmates/girls on the run people are all wear big fat cushies), and her form goes all the pieces the second she puts on shoes, and gets worse the thicker the shoe. She doesn't heel strike(yet), but you could see that years down the line without lots of corrections. My point? It may just depend on the person how easily shoes influence your form.
