No special reason except his plugging away barefoot running for many years....except I see I actually ran more than him this week...barely...one of the very few times ever. ..just a little shout out for barefoot Rick!!

His is amazing. For most people Ken Bob, or "the book" got people into barefoot running, it was Rick for me. When I first started I remember I did a search on youtube for barefoot running and the first video I looked at was this dude running in the snow barefoot, he was being interviewed by a news station, it was Barefoot Rick and it blew me away.
That's exactly how it happened for me too. Rick was my first influence, although I was already running barefoot before then.
For the truth is that I started running barefoot through that left inside me, was a natural need
