I see some other people do weekly reports on here. I think that is a good idea, so here is mine!
I ran 1.75 miles Tuesday and Thursday on concrete, 1 mile Friday (part walking) on dirt trails, 2 miles on Sunday on asphalt.
No major aches or painswith the exception of yesterday. My arch started to get that "over-stretched" feeling in my right foot yesterday toward the end of my run, forcing me to stop sooner. First time that has ever happened. I didn't stretch before I started because I was trying to be studly -like SOME people I know One of the stretches I usually do before I run, is bending my toes WAY back, which I am sure stretches my arch. I was also trying to go farther up on my toes (usually my strike is at midfoot) which also stretches the arch. And...it also didn't help that when I was rounding a corner, I kept looking behind me expecting to be bittenby twolarge dogs that were running loose, and I think I just tipped onto my right foot oddly.Oh, and I forgot to take the herbal pain-reliever I usually take before I run. It has poppyseeds in it -heh heh heh.
Oh yeah, and my calf muscles are FINALLY done being sore!!! Yay!
