Running Barefoot Around Europe

Okay, so I'm starting a blog about barefoot running around Europe. I travel quite a bit, and I'm finding myself in some interesting places with bizarre people and circumstances. Unfortunately, after Jason Robillard, aka "Last Chance Jason", suggested I give blogging a try, I went to Google's free site and started www.runbarefooteurope.blogspot.com Only later did I realize I have a blog here on BRS.

So for now I'll stick with www.runbarefooteurope.blogspot.com Since I just got started you'll only see a couple of posts. Oh, and I know nothing about blogging. I don't even have a Facebook page. And I've never used Twitter. But here's what you can expect from the blog: 1) descriptions of BFR adventures in interesting places around Europe, 2) a few lame attempts to be funny, 3) potential comments from my wife, mom, and so-called friends about my writing, hygiene, or the fact that I never pick up a telephone (that would be my mom).

And I would really appreciate any comments/feedback from BRS people. The blog is sort of an outlet for me to write and to document this fascinating barefoot kick I'm on, but I have no idea what I'm doing or what might be interesting to others. Let me know what you think, please.

I'm reading your post about cross-cultural marriage and cannot wait to forward it to my American husband. I'm French. I think he may be able to learn barefoot running by applying the rules he learned the hard way during the past 6 years.

Keep writing please, Ienjoy it.

That links not working for me. Not sure if its just my computer being dumb or a problem with the link. An external blog might actually end up reaching people who wouldn't see your blog here, though, so its all good. If people can find your blog that is.

Danjo, remove the . / at the end of the URL or copy this: http://www.runbarefooteurope.blogspot.com

Hi sloutre,

Glad you liked it. We have a number of friends in cross-cultural marriages. It's always funny when we get together and share stories.

Just posted a funny story that popped into my head over lunch after reading marksdailyapple.com. I posted it here on BRS and on my external blog. I think I'll do this for a while, since the BRS are probably the folks who might be interested in things I write. Although it remains to be seen if anyone will choose to follow it. But I'm having fun writing, something I haven't done in probably 20 years.

Your BRSblog should always be your uno, number one, main blog home...just sayin'. Hee. -TJ

Okay, TJ, but I'm not sure you want me filling the BRS site with stupid stories that might scare sane people away:)
