I think you have the Vanessa in this article confused with our Vanessa (Vanessa Runs). Either way, I like this person in this article, Board. She seems like a good advocate for BFR, and better yet, she's making serious changes in the lives of many children who really need her. She's awesome. (Both Vanessas are!)

Hi Longboard,

thanks for your interest in my quest. I had an amazing day out there and lots of crowd (and fellow runner) enthusiasm for my bare feet. What an incredible rush! My feet are in excellent shape and I anticipate going for a run this afternoon. I'll post details and pictures on my blog in the next couple of days.
