Who's running Utica NY July 8th. Barefoot?

I am planning to make it my first 15k BF.
Can anyone tell me if it is BF friendly?
I have run it a few years ago shod, but don't remember the road surface.
I know it can be hot.

Am I the only one?? I know there were some from this group who ran it BF. I was hoping for suggestions regarding the road conditions.

I have no advice for you barefootn beyond the fact that the roads have likely been resurfaced since your run a few years ago.

Boiler Maker is in the bag. Great race, I got nervous for nothing. The course is great for BF. The race is fantastic. Crowd support equals Boston. The post race party is the best. I talked to two other BF runners. They both had great races, even though one told me he hadn't run BF since February. One of the officials said she saw seven BF runners.
