Hi,
I am currently experiencing a throbbing medial heel pain. I have just started to get back into running (about 3 months back) after a year or so off and am only covering 5 minutes on, 3 minutes walk x3 as I was hoping to build up strength in my calves and feet again.
I am flat footed and pronate. More so in my right foot. The pain is in both feet but far worse in my right foot. There is no pain while I am running or directly afterwards but I will wake up in the night and it will be throbbing, this will continue for a day or two. It isn’t really tender to touch but more feels like it is coming from inside my heel. I have never experienced this before despite experimenting with minimalist running for a few years.
I am doing significant mayo facial release and dynamic stretching prior to running.
Thanks in advance!
