If you have not had a chance to see the documentary yet, you can check it out via the following link. It will take you to my blog post with a link to the first part. I will be downloading the balance tonight for posting tomorrow morning.
No problem Nick, sorry it took so long for me to get it on here, I had a slight concern over getting sued. But then I figured, 'Ahh you only live once, and I can just plead my bare feet made me do it'.
Would hate to see you get sued Bob. I don't understand the problem with airing this here in the US. Are they afraid the truth might create an uproar with the masses?
Very interesting watch. I am not compleetly in agreement with all their 'facts'. I would argue that dogs and wolfs (of different species) are better long distance runners than us (even though they do not transpire). Also looking at bipeds, birds have a better locomotiv system than us and a better respiratory system. I am thinking of flightless birds. But they also do not transpire. There are many good arguments in the documentary but I am sure the fact we use tools are just as important as the distance running part.
Good show, and thanks for sharing! If you get sued we'll have a bake sale for your legal fees. Some side notes, in the US they would never show an animal being speared or a 4 year old smoking a cigarette. Some people can't stomach another persons reality.
Just to let everybody know, the documentary has been taken down on request by the creator. If you had not had a chance to see it yet I applogize. My understanding is it will be available on Itunes later this year.
