Just purchased my first pair of shoes in like 3 years. Picked up the New Balance Minimus MT110's for when I want to go really fast on knarly trails and hills. The traction on these babies is unbelievable. I used them (borrowed my wife's it is so cool that her feet are the same size as mine for when I actually needed to borrow a trail shoe) on loose material (gravel and shale) hills with crazy verticals at my Ultra earlier this month. I liked them so much I bought the company, well no I bought the shoes. That is big enough news for me.....
This coming from the guy who said he would never buy ummm...... shoes ever again. Well shoes can be used for tools.
Right now though, they look awesome in the box and will probably stay there for a while yet, because this is awesome barefoot running weather..........
