Rest Days

JT - while not my profession I spend a good amount of time felling trees and such too. I dont do a lot of climbing, but it sure is a workout running the saw and bucking and hauling the rounds - and I only go up to the families farm every other few weekends from the end of winter through spring so I usually spend a day from sun up to sundown running the saw (or both days). And then the next week or two inbetween trips to the woods I spend splitting it all with an axe. So yeah it is sure a good workout, and infact I've lost the most amount of weight yet last spring and I attribute it mostly to logging, as I wasnt really doing much else, hadnt really started running yet until summer, and my diet wasnt even that great either at the time.

I dont think I have ever been more sore afterwards, and needed that rest day (or three) than after some of my trips into the woods!
