What a great, life-changing
What a great, life-changing ministry both of you are involved in - thank you both for serving others this way.
Andy - I recently experienced big rocks like that in KSOs even 9 months into mostly pure BFR, and they're still bruising to me. We've got a 10K here at Fort Bragg that I got roped into running with some shod buddies (I don't do races or events normally - I just run to be fit for life; they make me feel claustrophobic). We ran the course to scout it out for pure barefoot, which ain't happenin' at least for the first (and last, as it's an out-and-back course) heavily-rocked 3/4 mile.
I'm always surprised when I come across conditions like this that there will be someone on this site who will pop up saying that they love running over sharpened, 2-inch weaponized stones. Just warning you that that person will probably appear here shortly. Yes, they're crazy, bless their hearts, but so are we all I guess.
Run hard, run often, and have fun.
