I sleep with my neck at a 45
I sleep with my neck at a 45 degree angle, which kills most people, but my neck loves it -whether I'm on my back or side. I try to spend the same amount of time each night on my side, my back, and my other side. I can't handle floors or memory foam, just somewhere in between. I think it really depends on the person. I do enjoy sleeping in recliners though, which is kinda hammock-y. I see why the hammock would work well, because it slightly stretches out and decompresses the spine, which the spine loooooves.
