That is wonderful. To be able to hold a 10 minute mile over 100 miles would be a very cool accomplishment. Even the 18:27 minute miler is very impressive.

He organizes the http://theholidaymarathons.com/ in the Bronx. They are wonderfully low key and a blast - I don't do many events but I've done many of these. So much fun!

DNEChris, I just looked at the Holiday Marathons website and I think I'll add a race or 2 to my (short) list. It sound like the perfect type of fun running party. I could maybe convince a friend or 2 to join me for a 1/2 or a 10k.
Thanks for introducing me to these races, it's more reasonable than a 100 miler. And a trail race in NYC? Who would have thought it was possible.
