Refusing to allow a socked two year old to board an airliner after misplacing his shoes, and instead forcing him to wear a stranger's pair scrounged from the lost and found.

And I thought Americans were unrealisticaly afraid of shoelessness!

I wonder what Virgin's chief would say about this, after all he allows HIS children to rappel down buildings barefoot!

Wow, what is this fear of

Wow, what is this fear of bare feet? I don't get it. I used to have a fear of touching other peoples barefeet, socks, or shoes. That was while I was in the military where people get athletes foot all the time and I didn't want to get it. I never thought it was rude or bad to go anywhere barefoot though and I never understood the no shirt no shoes no service thing.
