I've been a minimal runner for 2 years and am lucky enough to have tried Brooks Pures, Vibram Five Fingers, Saucony Kinvaras, countless race flats and my own two bare feet...but I've never been lucky enough to try a pair of authentic Huarache style sandals! They look awesome and I've heard great things
Three months of barefoot jogging and I'm starting to have good padding on the important parts of my soles (across width by ball, between that and the toes and on towards the sides of feet). The treadmill I must use is used by others who do not barefoot it so it's filthy and my feet become so after I use it barefoot. I've taken to going down to the beach and running in desereted park area with brick and concrete paths - otherwise, there's too much Canada Goose droppings to run on grass. Making progress and hope to get lucky with invisible shoe contest. It would help. Be well, all.
