Was that you Lee?????
I do enjoy watching running and triathlons. Running is my thing and would love to do a tri someday. I go through sort of a progression watching that stuff; admiration, envy, a little more admiration then total disgust at what amazing athletes they are while I am, well, me.
It is a full time job competing at these levels. They don't do much else other than train, eat, and sleep, I don't think!
Not to mention the dude with the ghetto blaster running along behind you playing inspirational movie music.
oldie but these are still funny.
Larry, every good hero needs a soundtrack.
My husband tells me from time to time to train and enter the masters competition and I tell him that I know he means well and tries to encourage me and I thank him that he believes in me and that I am gratefull for that.
I tell him that I am happy with the little running that I do and I like that I can control my running and I don't want running to take control of my life because I do like to have a life besides training and do other things whenever I want.
Or maybe I don't have ambitions of becoming a better runner.
Sorry No Darkand. I was just being a smarta$$. I always get a kick out of that kind of footage, the lone hero, roller-skating across the Sahara or something, while surrounded by guys doing the same thing while holding equipment and thinking about lighting, angle, etc.
I hate it when real life get in the way of my fitness aspirations. Seriously, I am so thankful to have a job.
I think I'll start taking applications for a mobile inspirational music engineer (level 1) next week.
Lol!!! I wasn't sure!!!
