I started running purely barefoot (about 9 months), but I'm now that I'm nursing an addiction to trail running, I finally broke down and bought a pair of VFF sprints for the rougher stuff... I must say wow. I'm impressed. Lost a bit of the feel, but I'm ok with that, when feel consists of sharp rocks.
