How's everyone doing now? I noticed that the last post was a few weeks ago and now almost everywhere has some form of social distancing/quarantine. Any good barefoot stories out there?
Well done on the first run! Tingly soles isn’t unusual especially if you’ve been over gravel... it can be quite a soothing and satisfying sensation when you stop and put your feet up afterwards I find...I'm making the most of working from home to be barefoot *all* the time, and it's bliss.
I posted elsewhere that I slipped outside this weekend for my first ever barefoot run (I don't count barefoot treadmill). I kept it very short, and had no pain, but very tingly soles of the feet (a lot of gravel on the route). Great thing about the confinement was the lack of an audience...
Not really good barefoot stories, sorry!
I've begun running roads again on the weekend as the trails are too crowded.
It's boring! A couple of weeks ago I did my first barefoot run for a year. 7 out of 9 total. It was refreshing a delicious. I'll stick to my Luna Pacers for the gravel trails though!
