Call for independent shoe testing

Based on the discussion at Zero Drop and Runblogger, Dr. Richards

offered to conduct trials to assess the effects of shoe design on

injury rates and performance. The key is to get manufacturers to

submit shoes. So far, Merrell is in. I'm doing what I can to spread

the word to pressure others to join in.

If any of you could help out by spreading the word, that would be

great! Blog about it, spread the word on Facebook, Twitter, email,

whatever. The more people that know about it, the more likely other

manufacturers will be on-board.

I plan to add something to the home page in the next day or two, Jason. Hopefully, that will help. Also, I can forward the "challenge" onto all of the footwear companies/owners I know, but it seems like most of them have already received word.
