that first paragraph is totally my dream life. Well, maybe not necessarily the chickens, but building your own house up in Colorado, thats just awesome. Major respect.
I also definitely agree about obstacle course running, that kind of thing is really fun. Too bad you couldn't do it barefoot, I bet that would be even more awesome. (But volcanic gravel is about as evil a surface as you could ever dream up for people to walk on.)
