He might not but I can!Do you think he could help me break my 33 minute 5K barrier?
OK, I'll bite Dama. How?
First run a flat route and see how long it takes you to finish the route(focus on time not distance)
Then find a hilly route and make it your regular running route untill it becomes easier.
Find a nice set of stairs and do stair repeats once a week.
Then after about three months of that go back to the flat route to see your improvement.
You're welcome!
PS
I did try the Muffy method but my body didn't like it .
That kinda assumes that his barefoot 2:12:00 marathon is some kind of record...when in reality we don't know what can be done barefoot, because the best runners support their extended family from shoe contracts.Fastest barefoot marathon I found was Shivnath Singh 2:12:00 India's national record holder. So 12:01 minutes need to be chopped off to break 2 hours.

I personally believe that the 2hour barrier will go at some point but I doubt it will be down to a method of training more a combination of things
Yes, it can help you. Give his book a try.Do you think he could help me break my 33 minute 5K barrier?
I have Kindle on my iPhone and on my Android tablet TJ
El Yuca, looks like you can get the Kindle download to any device if you want to order it.Does anyone has this book digitally and is willing to share?
So you're running hills then so all you have to do now is stair repeats and you'll be all set.
I think you should go and give the 33 min 5K another try, and who knows, you might surprise yourself.
How do you figure? Have you read the book?
Yes.You expect me to waste money on a book titled "1:59?"
If Maffetone wanted this book to be taken seriously, he should have put something less crazy on the cover. In this case, it's fair to judge it by that. It's hype and gimmickry.
