Had a pretty cool experience with a coworker (actually a Supervisor). A few weeks ago he had asked me about barefooting and mentioned wanting to try out some VFF’s. I suggested he just try barefooting at home and a couple of short walks first to see how it felt first. This week he told me that for the first time in years he experienced virtually pain-free days (he said they constantly ache) after mild barefooting. Sharing something so awesome and receiving positive feedback is a pretty good feeling.
I talked to someone yesterday who was a very fast shod runner in his youth, college athlete, all that stuff, about Born to Run. He seemed interested. I hope he picks it up.
