Week 38 Mileage Reporting ( Sept 18 - Sept 24 )

5.1 miles Tuesday at Presque Isle with perfect running conditions- temp in the low 60's with dew point in the upper 40's. The park was quiet today with scattered retired walkers and bikers. Saw lots of gulls and hundreds of Monarch butterflies flitting around the Goldenrod flower.

Boulder and I did a 3 mile run Tuesday at 4:30 am.
We did another 3 mile run Thursday also at 4:30. the temperature was in the 70 deg. range both days. We spotted one skunk and heard some roosters.


2 great outings.

3.5 miles on Saturday at Presque Isle. There was a cool northeast breeze today with temps in the low 60's. The birds were quiet today while I was running. I did see a catbird standing over a young mouse that was sitting on my running path though. I don't know, maybe that's why they are called catbirds. Anyway, I did stop and ensure that the mouse was back in safe territory.

We did a 4 mile run Sunday at 5:30 am. It was 79 deg. f. with light winds. We heard roosters crowing. We spotted some horses on the way back. It was mostly cloudy so not much star action and not a good view of the sunrise.
