I bought this beaded necklace from a beach gift shop in Destin back in 2008, but never wore it due to the beaded construction always tugging the hairs on the back of my neck. *ouch* So last summer not long after I started barefooting, I shortened it, took off several sets of the beads, and made an anklet out of it.
Well my 2-year old son was always pointing to it on my foot, and even trying to pick it up and put it on his own foot. So I took the remaining beads and made a pint-sized matching anklet for him. My wife thinks it's the cutest thing ever!
