Faster than Barefoot?

So some race directors ban bare feet, will they allow these?

My feet can already do that, but much, much better.
Sometimes the mind boggles, there is no way these will be allowed in competitive circles.

Remember the Newtons with the lugs built into the forefoot for rise and quicker take off? Looks a lot like that crap. Just another gimmick.
