Eugene Marathon 2012

I registered for the 2012 Eugene Marathon. It's on April 29th, my 30th birthday, and will be my first marathon! I hope to be at the point that I can run the whole thing barefoot.

Thanks for the encouragement. I signed up on Saturday, and at that point the longest I had ever ran was 5K. On sunday I went for a run, and my goal was 5 miles, I was figuring on having to walk a little to hit that. I ended up running 10K at a better than 10min/mile pace. I wasn't planning to run a marathon this soon, but when I found one on my 30th birthday, I found it hard to resist!
