Boston Marathon barefoot

Hi friends! It’s been quite a while since I’ve dropped in, hopefully there are some familiar faces!

I took some time off running but started rebuilding my base over the last few weeks. The company I work for, Boston Beer Co, get bibs for Boston and I was able to get one for ‘23. Has anyone here ran it barefoot? Looking for tips, terrain, trouble spots, etc. Or, feel free to just call me dumbass.

We’ve had just a few run it barefoot. Do a search for Boston Marathon, and some names will come up.

I did to a search last night and found a good thread about the road conditions. It was from a few years back so hopefully some of the challenging spots have been since repaved.

I imagine it should be possible if you're ready for pavement.
