Have just been on one of those clicking interesting links trails through the net, starting out with career stuff & ending up at the blog post here - I rather liked it, agreed with his points & it's quiet refreshing to read something that's about the experience of barefooting, not the nuts & bolts (admittedly, I probably seek out the nuts & bolts stuff more, which could be why I see a bias!)
