Great read John. I love reading your race stories. Btw, I grew up in NW Montana and gosh is well used there as well. Lost somewhere between the Pacific NW and the Midwest. Not really sure what that area is considered. My grandma actually says garsh.

Great job on the race and I think 45 minutes is fantastic!

Thanks for sharing! It was enjoyable to read. I've caught this bug where running, racing, hanging with racers and talking about running and racing is all consuming. I guess that makes you an enabler! ;o)

BTW, yes, that's pretty dang fast! Nice work! A little more work on speed on concrete and I'll bet you don't even slow down on the rough stuff! I look forward to the next one!

That reminds me that my grandma, from Iowa, said 'garsh' all the time. She would have been horrified of my barefoot running, I'm sure. Bad enough that I became a vegetarian. Thanks for the feed back!
