Group,

I am sure this has been posted before, but I ask likely yet again.
Are there barefoot running shoes that have ice cleats of any sort?
Are there new evolution or technologies?

I live in Alberta, Canada and run often below 0C - I quit when really cold and when icy!
I wear a barefoot running shoe most of the time due to on and off gravel - but I am fearful of ice.

Any help or thoughts would be appreciated!

I vaguely recall that Icebug had a zero drop shoe with studs. I've made my own studs with 1/4" machine screws. You need a thickish sole for that, though, and that may not meet your definition of minimal.
