Good week keeping my run miles around 10-12 range while I build up my swim/biking time. Ran 3 of those miles on a rough track...3 was all I could do on that till my feet were stinging a bit...this is my new test run every couple weeks.
10.5 miles on streets/sidewalks Sunday - Intermittent rain but no blisters, just super-tender soles afterward. It was new BF distance milestone for me too.
Some running club guys caught up with me and one said he noticed that I was running the yellow lines on the park pathway and assumed I was running bare from my form. They were in shoes of course but totally supportive of running bare and didn't think I was weird at all.
I had 20 miles for the week, two runs at 10 each, all barest of foot! This is the first time I have run that distance since I had the cryo back late last April. Still not my 17 longs, but I'll take it!
