Well, that was a pointless study.... I did like at the end the bit about shin pain though. I can always tell when I run with a heelstrike because I always get shin pain. I can run same speed or faster with a midfoot/forefoot strike and magically no shin splints/pain. Of course for me I am also finding footwear is extremely important too in that.
