Merrel Naked foot 5k

I was checking out this race and there is a link on their page to the local barefoot running club. I got excited. A chance to meet more strange people like us. I had this grand vision of 2 little families getting together. Perhaps we would start a movement. We would gather en mass at the capitol building holding angry signs against "No shirt, no shoes, no service." The Governor himself would come out and throw his shoes in the gutter. All would be right in the world. Well it turns out the local barefoot running club is us. So far there have been 4 of us getting together.

LOL! I feel your pain. There are 99 of us in the Dallas Chapter and I've met 4!

Then I found McKinney Barefoot on meetup.com and thought the same thing you did. Turned out to be 7 members with just me and the guy who started it running and one guy who RSVPS to everything and shows to nothing. Now we are 3 people strong and ran a 10K together! Woohoo! It's snowballing like a mother!!! ;o)
