Hey everybody! For those who haven't noticed, and for a while I was posting links every week, my local newspaper has been following me and several other runners as we prepare for the inaugural Kalamazoo Marathon on May 8th. They have only covered the last couple months, so they don't have the whole story (missing December and January, for the most part), but they did manage to have us cover what has been, for me, the most difficult part of the training program. We wrote them ourselves, so bear with the ranbling (in my entries specifically)!
This past saturday I completed my first, and only, 20+ mile training run and now get the joy of a couple weeks of taper, finally allowing my body to heal up a bit. yay!
anyway, here are a couple links for those who want to read more:
This is the article written by the reporter that focused on me:

This one has a brief synonpsis of each of the runners they were following:
http://www.mlive.com/sports/kalamazoo/index.ssf/2011/02/seven_runners_give_glimpse_int.html
this is the page where they have grouped all the weekly articles (the older ones are at the bottom):
http://topics.mlive.com/tag/Kalamazoo%20runners/index.html
PS: If it seems like I was standing kind of funny in that picture it's because my legs were so sore I wanted to saw them off at the waist in favor of some new robot legs!
