This really has nothing to do with barefoot running but I felt like sharing with it with you all. My oldest is legally blind, no peripheral vision. Best I can fathom is look through a pair of straws or paper towel rolls and then obscure what you're seeing slightly "visual agnosia" and you'll see what he sees. He had vision up until the end of 2008 and since his bone marrow transplant his vision is as described. Hard to imagine having complete vision then having it taken away or at least the majority of it taken away.
