Thank you. (I obviously haven't been on here for a while, so this is a very late reply.) I will check those out.

The sandals look very much like the ones I got from them. I looked at the link you posted, clicked on a couple of shoes that looked interesting, and discovered that a pair I had really wanted earlier was on sale for $40 off! I rarely happen to be on the site when that happens, so I snagged a pair. Many, many thanks.

I tried running in my sandals and they bent under at the toe and tripped me. I managed to not fall down, but vowed only to run in actual shoes (minimalist, of course) or barefoot after that.

Arrgh, poor Random. I know that my Clouds sometimes catch and bend, but they are so flexible that I just carry on as normal. Maybe try adjusting the straps?

My straps were pretty tight (I don't like them loose). I'm going to stick with running in my Sockwas until my new shoes come, because I'm kind of paranoid about running in the sandals, except for the times I venture out barefoot. (The Sockwas are like running barefoot with protection from the heat and cold. The only problem there is that they are exactly like running barefoot when you hit stones or a patch of stickers.)

I've done a few runs in my Xero Speed Force now, and am really enjoying them. I'll post a full review on here very soon. Suffice to say - lovely thin soles, very light, but protect the feet when running through brambles in the forest. Just make sure you get them large enough - mine are just about perfect, but I did notice my big toe touching the end of the shoe when my feet were soaking wet.

Edit: I posted my review today under my blog. I'd be delighted to answer any questions, as I'm sure I've not included all the necessary information.
