    BRS Winter Challenge 2022-2023
    April 1, 2023 - September 30, 2023 Southern
    October 1, 2022 - March 31, 2023 Northern

    1. All runs/walks must be BAREFOOT
    2. Update the number of walks/runs (cumulative) in each temperature range
    3. Update your distance (cumulative, in KM or MI) in each temperature range
    4. Enter your COLDEST run (in °F)
    5. Add your longest cold weather run (distance in miles & temperature in °F)

    Nobody seems to be discussing the Winter Challenge. I am guilty for not checking in as well :sorry:. As usual for me, I have continued to run barefoot this winter. It's been a roller coaster of weather here, from warm and rainy to frigid and windy to wet and snowy or various combinations of those and more...and flipping conditions in a matter of 24 hours in some cases. Crazy weather!

    Congratulations to everyone that took on the challenge of winter barefooting! I really hope to see some sort of summary and discussion on the Winter Challenge. Maybe I am missing a different thread?

    I never received a summary report for this last challenge for the home page. Is there one? Who was going to do it, you, @hikerdana? Some pictures with it would be nice.

    Ok, so I didn't overlook it. I don't always get the notifications I should be from the threads I follow, and I am really bad about checking in to the BRS regularly unfortunately :banghead:. Hopefully we will get to read a summary, even at this late date....

    Had someone on my Barefoot Runners Strava club ask if the winter challenge is going on this year too, as she'd like to take part...wasn't sure what to say.

    Howdy everybody, I just updated the Winter Challenge link for 2018-2019 - thanks to Gueng for handling the spreadsheet, good work!

    Look forward to seeing how my fellow BRS members make out this winter!

    I started this last year and then forgot about it. Came to mind again this morning as my run felt a bit chilly. I'll try to be better at filling it in this year.

    Hey guys - dang - never got the link up for youss ...

    Winter Challenge 2019-2020 - Go!

    Been too mild in Paris, but looks like things are going to get real now.

    Technically, Northern Hemisphere contest started on October 1 (oops!!) so if you have the means, go back and add your runs, if below 10°C. BareFootHealth, this means you, I would imagine!

    Thanks Christian! I'm certainly glad to see this is going again this winter. It does help keep me motivated to get out in the cold and run. I think I have all of my back-data entered and will continue entering my runs as they happen.
