Hi, Virginia BF and minimalist runners! I was curious as to where in VA we all are, since it seems everyone around me is stunned by the sight of my VFF's, so Idoubt anyone else is nearby. I live near Charlottesville, work in Richmond. I've been running in my VFF's for a whopping month now, too big a wuss to go barefoot. Where's everyone else?

C-ville to Richmond is a good distance itself. I traveled up and down 64 a lot when I was younger. I'll keep my commute
Live and play around Richmond. Spend some time in WV on the rivers & trails, too. Always get lots of comments whenever out in the VFF, but starting to see more and more of them all the time.
I am near Hampton, but we are moving in 2 weeks so I'll be leaving the Virginia chapter. I hope some of you can get together and run!

I'm in Herndon for another month, then moving into DC. Just started running barefoot about a month ago. My first pair of VFF's just arrived and have yet to run in them.
I live and work in Richmond. I get alot of comments on my VFF"s as well. I have been wearing mine since December.
I'm in Alexandria, VA. Started running barefoot around March, then got sick for a while and stopped. Trying to work up my mileage again!

My wife and Iboth run barefoot, having started about six months ago. We live in Oakton, although we like to run in new places.
Hey guys and girls. I live in Stafford which is near Fredericksburg although I'm familiar with the whole metro area north of me because I grew up there. It's too bad there don't seem to be more resources for barefooters; I'd really like to get together with some on the regular.
