What a great barefoot Sunday run and fun in the sun on the sand. Gorgeous day. Warren Dickey was there with his family and Chris Gkikas brought his unbridled passion for our sport. Five of us ran a couple of miles, three of us enjoyed about 6 and Chris went on to make it around 10. We also had fun running with a beer cooler, beach chair and coffee mug to add to the "training effect." Looking forward to November 6 for our next First Sunday Siesta Key Barefoot run at 9:00 am by the yellow lifeguard hut.
