and a lady walked in barefoot.
My neighbor kinda lost his s**t when he saw me working out in my yard barefoot yesterday. He’s a former contractor and seeing a guy building a fence barefoot rattled him I guess. I told him that I was using sandals for digging earlier
I did try boots the first day...my feet were sore, sweaty, unhappy, and I felt clumsy as hell.
Do you have a foot fetish? I don't think it is right you are taking photos of woman's feet in public without their consent. I don't think it is right to take a photo of any part of a person's body in public without their consent first. It is an invasion of their privacy. I have a foot fetish by the way.
We don't allow people with foot fetishes to post on the site. We can't stop them from viewing the site, but we can block them from doing so. I can't tell if you are being serious. If you are serious, then I will have to block you.
I don't think anyone should be blocked on this site for having a fetish as long as they don't talk about their fetish on this site and they don't harass anyone.
The real question is should someone take a photo of someone in public without their consent?
Just mentioning you have a fetish is talking about your fetish. You'll have to excuse us if we are a bit gun shy. We've had a couple of bad experiences here in the past that have scared some of our female members away. We simply won't tolerate it.
Putting it in context I just thought it was strange and wrong that someone would take a photo of person's body part without their consent that is why I brought it up.
You don't think it is strange and wrong to take a photo of someones body part without their consent? I think it is, I think it is strange and wrong to take a photo of someone without their consent.
Sorry Madam I ever brought it up.
You could still bring up your point without ever bringing up your fetish though.
I am Sorry Madam for bringing it up!
This is a site that promotes going barefoot. We rejoice every time we see someone going barefoot in public. I like going barefoot. I wish I had the stamina to go barefoot all the time. A photo like I posted is perfectly in line with the subject of this forum, which is going barefoot.
I made sure I did not photograph any part of this person's body that would identify them.
TJ, should I delete the photo?
If you're in a public place, anyone can take your picture without your consent. At least in the US
No, don't delete it. There's nothing wrong with it or your posting it. I appreciate your asking.
If one reads Charlie's first post in this thread from his point of view, someone with a foot fetish, you see the woman's feet as sexual objects. It would be analogous to a picture of a woman's breast, for example. That is why he called it out. You and I and other non-fetish people wouldn't even think that way, so we see it as innocent.
@Random is correct in posting pictures like this in this forum because this is a site for barefooters centered around barefoot running and the barefoot lifestyle, not people with a foot fetish. We should not have to worry about what fetish people are thinking when they visit our site, and we won't.
The rule here is if you have a foot fetish and you confess to it and/or post about it, we can ban you. We will not allow people with a foot fetish to make other people uncomfortable or run off our members.
I was going to delete this thread from public view, but I am now thinking it's a good example of what our philosophy is around here.
Also yet another example of the endless things that TJ has to deal with as the site administrator. Your work does not go unappreciated TJ - THANK YOU for all the work you do to keep this an interesting and civil place to discuss our common interests.
I only took the picture to show that the dentist office didn't care.
