Vivobarefoot releases huarache style sandal

Saw this in my e-mail the other day and thought I'd pass it along. I didn't see the stack height listed anywhere. The price is $100.

I saw that, too, while browsing on their website. They have had a few sandals, but they all have problems.

The Dopie didn't have any groundfeel.
The Achilles had too much material and rubbed me the wrong way.
The Ulysses looks like an overbuilt huarache.

It's hard to improve on classic sandal designs. Their shoes are much more innovative.

Agreed.
The Tarahumara make their sandals out of string and pieces of old tires. And they seem to work just fine.
$100 seems pretty pricey for a couple of ounces of rubber.
One thing about running barefoot - it's free!
To each his own, I guess.
