Date: Sun 03/27/11 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM EDT Link: Gravelly Point Park How 'bout a run Sunday along the Mt. Vernon trail? The 18 mile fully paved trail runs along the Potomac river from Rosslyn to Mt. Vernon and offers spectacular scenery all along the way. Gravelly Point is just about mid way between the 7-mile Rosslyn to Old Town stretch so it's a great place to meet up. A couple-two-three miles out and back will make for a fantastic run and the forecast is calling for mid 50s - perfect for a nice moderate pace. I'll be there. Hope you can make it out.
