Trail marathon on snow - barefoot

Great achievement from Tomas Zahalka and Lukáš Findeis.

Lipno Ice Marathon, trail around a lake, temperature 34F, wet snow.

They both finished barefoot in 5:07 and 5:12.

    Woohoo!
Also, glad to see I'm not the only one who carries his sneakers at hand :p ...just in case...

yes having your shoes (sandals are lighter, better) with you is a good option when you still are a barefoot beginner,
too many times I went too far away without them and had to go back home with painful feet.

after two barefoot years, this dont happen anymore, since I know better my limits

snow is still impossible to me when its fresh powder, but the compact one is surprisingly easy when t° are not too cold
