I think we may need a Tobacco style Class Action lawsuit against the major athletic shoe companies.
Most of those shoes deform the feet and lower leg over time.
It was not until the tobacco companies started getting sued that they started being required to put warning labels on cigarette boxes etc.
Most shoes should come with a warning that says:
"Warning, prolonged use will deform you toes, shorten you achilles tendon, damage your knees hips and lower back by promoting hard heel strikes while running, etc. "
